Agla was founded in 1977 in Avigliana (TO), but it has more ancient roots in its "parent company" Bonu' s.r.l. that is situated in Sant' Ambrogio(TO).

Bonù company, created in 1962, was specialized in the planning and construction of sheet metal dies for car components and it is now an innovative workshop that constantly goes together with the production and maintenance of all necessary tooling and manufacturing systems for Agla s.r.l., by optimising and renewing the rolling technology, basis of the specific Know-How of Agla company.

Agla was created, in order to replace pieces obtained from fusion, expensive and connected to expensive operations of turning and resumption, with pulleys stamped and rolled, following the fast evolution of the car field, in particular to cold form steel and to assemble sheet metal components, using presses, fed to tape and transfer.

In 1987 it started the production, that still marks us in the Italian market but above all in the European one, of Pulleys initially monolithic and later Poly-V and Poly-V with cog- wheel , but then also of sheet metal hub , dampers components such as rings and hubs in sheet metal, aluminium and plastic.

This new production leads Agla, in a full technological evolution, to a diversification and to an improvement of is way of working:- 1° phase of Stamping 2° phase of Rolling.

This brilliant intuition gives to the company the winning energy towards a rapid expansion initially in the Italian market and then, with great consent, in the European market (England, France, Spain, Germany, Poland).
